Is really Fats are bad for Health?

Commentsundesirable. Containing 9 calories per gram, fat has more than
twice the calories of carbohydrates and proteins. A high-fat diet
increases the risk of obesity and its complications (diabetes,
hypertension and certain cancers). It is another reason to be
judicious with all fats, even with the more desirable ones such as
olive and peanut oil.
Remember that fat is only a part of the equation. To reduce
your risk of heart disease, hypertension and certain cancers, it is
just as important to eat lots of fruits and vegetables and whole
grains, which provide vitamins and fibre.
Regular exercise is as vital as a sound diet in the fight against
heart disease, stroke, obesity, hypertension, diabetes and certain
cancers. With a balanced programme, you can win that fight —
and enjoy life while you are at it.
Facing the Fats
If your motto is ‘fat is bad’, here is a shocking news: Some fats are
turning out to be very healthy. So healthy, in fact, that you
probably need more.
