Some Simple Ways to Reduce Fat in Your Diet

Comments- Remember that the saturated fats are the ones you do not
need. The polyunsaturated fats are fine. Watch your
intake of oils and butter. When you do use oil, use only
the polyunsaturated kind. - Try not to eat red meat, it is unbelievably high in fat.
- Always remember to remove the skin of a chicken. A
whole fried chicken has about 2,000 calories but if you
remove the skin, you are left with just about 1,000
calories, which is quite a difference! - Read the fat content in the food chart Table 1.4 and
remember that high fat content foods can be substituted
by foods containing less fat. For instance, the difference
between the amount of fat in whole milk and that in nonfat
milk is considerable.
